Northeastern’s Women’s Club Tennis team are 3-time New England Sectional champions and were named the New England Club of the Year by USTA Tennis on Campus 2009-2010 and 2019. At Tennis on Campus’ National tournament in 2019, Northeastern placed 23rd. Practices are held twice a week, once for a women’s practice and once for a mixed practice with the Men’s Club team. Practices are held at the Carter Field Courts during the Fall and Spring and at Weymouth Club in Weymouth, MA in the winter. Matches and tournaments are co-ed, with men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s doubles and mixed doubles in a World Team Tennis format. Every player on the team has the option of playing a variety of tournaments throughout the year. Throughout the year, our players volunteer at Sportsmen’s club in Dorchester in the Volley Against Violence program where we help run tennis clinics with at risk youth.
