QUESTIONS

The Northeastern University Equestrian Team (NUEQ) is a competitive club sport team competing in Zone 1, Region 2 of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA).  The club competes in Hunt Seat Equitation shows around New England.  The team lessons at Cranberry Acres Equestrian in Marshfield, MA and is trained by head coach, Kate Roncarati.

NUEQ is open to all undergraduate students with at least some riding experience. Tryouts are held every year in September and include a riding and interview component. All riders must tryout in order to join the team, we cannot promise any prospective members a spot on the team based on videos or show records. The club encourages all riders to try out regardless of past discipline. If you are a current or prospective Northeastern University student who is interested in joining the team, check out our Instagram (@nueqteam) and do not hesitate to contact us at nueqteam@gmail.com with any additional questions.;

 Our show team competes throughout the fall, with Regionals, Zones, and Nationals in the spring.  Riders typically lesson 1 or 2 times per week, depending on their level in competition or schedule.
