Established in 2010, Northeastern University Club Softball continues to grow and develop every season. The Huskies are a member of the National Club Softball Association as part of the New England East conference, along with Harvard, UMass-Lowell, UNH, UVM, and UMaine. Unofficial game play includes opponents such as Dean College, New York University, and Community College of Rhode Island.

During the Fall,  we try to play 6 weekends of softball, with each weekend consisting of three games, usually played as a triple-header, or a tournament. During the Spring, we do our best to fit in about 4 weekends of softball depending on how the fields weathered the winter. The NCSA Regional tournament takes place in late April, and the World Series are in May.

Without a varsity team at Northeastern, softball field condition and availability varies widely from week to week and is largely dependent on coordination with the City of Boston. Practices are typically held in Cabot Cage during the winter, or at McLaughlin Field on Mission Hill and Carter Field on Columbus Ave during spring and fall. Home games have been held at McLaughlin Field or on the Boston Common.

Tryouts are held at the beginning of each semester. Please contact the e-board to learn more about NU Club Softball.
