Competition Week – 5-11 April – Boston, MA to Huntsville, AL
This year’s NASA Student Launch (SL) challenged University teams to mimic a sample return mission to Mars and design and build an autonomous robot capable of finding, capturing, and inserting a payload into a launch vehicle. The vehicle must then be readied for flight, launched, and successfully recovered. The competition featured over twenty teams and was hosted at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL.
