Day 31: Group Work and Preparation
As we are winding down the end of the dialogue, we are now beginning to shift into the mode of starting our final presentation group work with our AR teams from week 2 in Toronto. My team, Convenience Stories, with Chase B, Chase H, and Ricky, spent several hours of the day working on not only our final project as a group, but also our individual reviews and interviews. Overall, we were able to completely finish all our group for our presentation tomorrow, and we also got a lot done for our reviews and interviews.
Lunch for me consisted of a chicken sandwich and fries from Freddy’s, a place that I have been to several times for its conveniency and good food.
Another big highlight of our day was our end-of-dialogue meetings with David. We met with him on the balcony outside our classroom, where there was an amazing view of Sheffield that we were able to look at as we discussed the dialogue. Our conversation included my favorite part of the dialogue, which of course was the Doc/Fest, some of the films and projects I viewed while at the Doc/Fest, and many other things. Overall it was a great opportunity to reflect on my week at Sheffield and the dialogue as a whole.
After working, dinner consisted of a nice burger from Gourmet Burger consisting of onions, habanero jam, chipotle mayo, and a fried egg. I enjoyed it immensely, and it was one of the better burgers I’ve had.
Overall, Day 31 was pretty uneventful, as most of the day was spent working on all of our final assignments. As we go into the last full day of the dialogue, I am looking forward to seeing all the different presentations that are in store for us.
