Robin Devereux is a Managing Director and Chief Administrative Office at Summit Partners. Robin joined Summit Partners in 2000, and prior worked for National Development, Property Capital Trust, R.M. Bradley & Co. and Deloitte & Touche. Robin holds a BS in accounting from Northeastern University and is a CPA (expired).

Lauren Malafronte is a Managing Director at Scotiabank and is a member of the global management team for Prime Services responsible for client management. Prior to joining Scotiabank in 2013, she was Head of Client Services for Prime Services at Barclays Capital, and began her career as a Computer Programmer/Business Analyst for various financial services. Lauren is a member of the operating committee of Scotiabank’s U.S. Women’s Council and part of the bank’s U.S. Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Lauren was also named the 2018 chair of the 100 Women in Finance Global Association Board. Lauren holds a BBA and MBA from Baruch College.

Sarah Hodges is a Partner at Pillar, VC and Board Member of the New England Venture Capital Association. She has spent the last decade as an entrepreneur and operator in high-growth consumer and enterprise companies. At Pillar, Sarah leverages her operating experience to bring leadership insight, capabilities and resources to the firm’s portfolio companies. Prior to Pillar, Sarah was a member of the executive team at Pluralsight, the world’s largest online learning community for IT, dev and creative training, where she helped the company double in size in less than one year. Before joining the company, Sarah was a member of the executive team at Smarterer (sold to Pluralsight), where she oversaw business strategy, operations, and marketing. 

In 2012, Sarah co-founded Intelligent.ly, a leadership development company that has transformed over 1,000 emerging leaders across 50 high-growth companies, and continues to serve the Boston community. Sarah has held additional roles in early stage startups including RunKeeper (sold to Asics) and Carbonite (CARB). She has also served as a board member at BUILD and an advisor to Flybridge Capital.

Michelle Knight serves as Chief Investment Officer and Chief Economist for Ropes Wealth, where she is responsible for apprising clients of global economic and market activity and its implications for investment strategy. In this role, she leads the Investment Team in making asset allocation decisions and directs investment and manager selection on behalf of all clients. Ms. Knight is a key advisor to the Management Committee and the Chair of the Investment Policy Committee. Ms. Knight is a frequent contributor to Financial Advisors magazine and Private Asset Management magazine, and has been quoted in Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, the Boston Business JournalForbes, and The Boston Globe

As Chief Economist for Ropes & Gray LLP, Michelle provided economic and market insights to the trustees of the Private Client Group to aid in their management and oversight of trusts and trust-related assets totaling close to $5 billion. Michelle was Chief Economist and Managing Director of Fixed Income for Silver Bridge Capital Management LLC, which was acquired by Banyan Partners LP in 2013. Prior to joining Silver Bridge, Michelle was Head of the Fixed Income Department at Atlantic Trust, where she was responsible for managing $5 billion in fixed income assets. 

Before joining Atlantic Trust, she was an Analyst and Assistant Portfolio Manager at J.P. Morgan Investment Management in New York. Michelle earned a MBA, a MSF, and a BA from Boston College, where she graduated summa cum laudeand held the distinction of Presidential Scholar. She was named one of Boston Business Journal’s “40 under 40” in 2009, in recognition of her accomplishments as a corporate and civic leader. She is a member of the Boston Economic Club, the Boston College Alumni Association and Council for Women, the Children’s Hospital League, and the Inner-City Scholarship Fund Professional’s Team. Michelle serves as a member of the Investment Committee of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston and the Boston Latin School. In addition to serving on the Investment Committee of the Dedham Country Day School, she leads their Community Outreach effort. She also teaches second-grade religious education at Holy Name Church in West Roxbury.

Kristin Fazio, IACCP®1 serves as the Chief Compliance Officer at Ropes Wealth, where she is responsible for designing, implementing, managing and monitoring the firm’s compliance program. This includes, creating, maintaining and monitoring policies and procedures for compliance with current regulations and industry best practices, ensuring all regulatory reports are properly prepared and filed on a timely basis, leading in-house compliance education efforts across the firm and implementing an effective compliance testing regimen. Kristin is the administrator of the Business Oversight Committee and serves as a member of the Investment Policy Committee.

As Compliance Officer for Ropes & Gray LLP, Kristin prepared for the transition of the law firm’s trust and trust-related assets to management by Ropes Wealth Advisors, LLC, a newly formed registered investment adviser and affiliate of Ropes & Gray LLP. In this capacity, she prepared all regulatory filings, collaborated with counsel on the creation of governing documents and investment management agreements, conducted education and training on a registered investment adviser environment, and built the compliance program.

Kristin was the Chief Compliance Officer for Silver Bridge Capital Management LLC and the Director of Risk Management for Silver Bridge Advisors LLC, (collectively “Silver Bridge”), which was acquired by Banyan Partners in 2013. Prior to joining Silver Bridge, Kristin was a Senior Consultant at Navigant Consulting, Inc.

Kristin graduated cum laude from the Wallace E. Carroll School Management at Boston College with a BS degree in Economics and Business Administration. She resides in Marblehead with her husband and five young children, and enjoys skiing and hiking with them in New Hampshire on the weekends.

Sally brings practicality to the challenge of managing risk. She has spent over 25 years helping clients deliver on their strategic goals through better understanding and management of risks and opportunities. Her areas of focus include strategic risk management, responding to regulatory change, building ethical culture and risk management programs and creating effective compliance programs. 

She writes frequently on resilience, risk and food related topics and is quoted in various media publications on building sustainable risk and compliance programs, including the Wall Street Journal, CFO Journal,CFO.com, and Investors Business Daily, among others. Sally was named by ethisphere in the 2015 list of the “100 Most Influential in Business Ethics”. 

Sally has a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration in International Business.
