Anne Kennelly Kratky has over 30 years’ experience at GE Capital in a variety of cross functional roles, with over 20 years of that in Risk Management. She is a GE Company Officer and is currently the Deputy Chief Risk Officer and Chief Credit Officer of GE Capital. In this role Anne is leading the transformation of the 5000 person Risk Management organization and implementing strategy and framework improvements across all risk areas to strengthen the function. Anne is also responsible for the Credit Risk, Risk Operations, Model Development, Global Credit Review and Risk Internal Controls organizations. Anne served on the Synchrony Financial Board of Directors from January 2014 to December 2015 supporting the business through its successful and orderly separation from GE. 

Prior to her current role Anne was Deputy Treasurer and Chief Risk Officer for GE Treasury from August 2011 through February 2015. There she was responsible for leading the team in providing oversight and management of market risk, financial institution credit, sovereign and country risk for GE and GE Capital; enterprise and operational risk for Treasury as well as oversight of liquidity and insurance risk for GE Capital.Prior to joining Treasury, Anne was the Chief Risk Officer of GE Capital Aviation Services, the industry’s leading aviation financial services provider with over 1500 owned aircraft and ~$50B in assets, from October 2006 through August 2011.

Prior to that, Anne held key leadership positions including CRO of Global Media and Communications and CRO for the Commercial and Industrial Finance business. In addition, Anne held a variety of cross-functional roles and leadership positions in risk underwriting, portfolio management and workouts, sales and marketing, business development and Six Sigma Quality in GE Capital’s Structured Finance business for 18 years focused on diversified industries including transportation. Anne holds a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis with a concentration in Finance from Miami University in Ohio and is a graduate of GE’s Information Technology Leadership Program.
