Rhythms – Spring 2023 Exhibition
Spark* was able to partake in our first off-campus exhibition hosted at The Friend Street Project as a part of their one-day mixed media art festival titled “Touchpoint x Rhythms.”
For this exhibition, we wanted to create a multi-sensory experience which explores how rhythm, flow and movement intertwine and shape our experiences.
From sound, movement, cycles in our daily routines to the flow of waves and the patterns found in nature, rhythms can be universal yet deeply personal. Alongside this sense of movement, we also delved into the interplay between continuity, break and the transformative nature of rhythms, notably by reflecting on how moments of interruption can create new flows and movements.
