Why MIS: Uncoverinng stories and trends in raw data and using those insights to drive business decisions is something that I've grown to love since my first co-op two years ago, which ultimately put me on the course of pursuing a concentration in MIS and a minor in Data Science!

Why MIS: I recently added management information systems as a concentration, and am quickly learning that my passions lie in marketing analytics, where I have the ability to derive quantifiable results from real-life data. I am still exploring this amazing field, and am ecstatic for the opportunity to spread the word about MIS!

Why MIS: I think the world is heading in a very technology focused direction. MIS gives me a good understanding of all sorts of different data, information, and computer centric knowledge which I believe will be key in long term success in the business field. The subject is also quite interesting to me so I enjoy the work associated with the learning process.

Why MIS: I have been translating English to Spanish my whole life, and when I discovered MIS translates information systems to help businesses perform more efficiently, it just made sense for me.

Why MIS: Management Information Systems because the concentration/major can really help with data analytics or information technology, as I want go further with data analysis or computer tech in general. Taking MIS courses and related classes have prepared me for the analytical or technical subjects I had to take on. It's a mix of business and technology, so it's practical and enjoyable.
