Our Mission

The mission of the MIS Club is to expose our members and students to the central role that information systems play in modern organizations. We seek to explore the intersection of information systems with other disciplines such as strategy, operations management, finance, marketing and entrepreneurship. The club is committed to strengthening the bond between students, the business community and the Northeastern University alumni network. We bring top executives and experts from the business community to campus to give career-oriented lectures and seminars. We also organize field trips and networking events for students.

Leadership

The MIS Club's executive board ("Eboard") typically changes each semester. The club operates during the Fall and Spring semesters and is typically run by Northeastern undergraduate MIS concentrators in the D'Amore-McKim School of Business. The Club's faculty advisor is Professor Nick Dedeke.

Meetings

The E-board is responsible for planning events, such as attracting guest speakers, promoting events, and coordinating field trips.
For Spring 2015 semester, we will be meeting every other Wednesday at 6-7pm in 128 Forsyth building. Please check our Facebook or Orgsync page for meeting updates.
