About

Established in 2010, Northeastern University Club Softball continues to grow and develop every season. The Huskies are a member of the National Club Softball Association as a part of the New England South conference. Games are played against UMass Amherst, UConn, URI, Stonehill College, and Providence College.

During the Fall, we try to play multiple weekends of softball, with each weekend consisting of three games, usually played as a triple-header, or a tournament. During the Spring, we do our best to fit in some weekends of softball depending on how the fields weathered in the winter. The NCSA Regional tournament takes place in late April, and the World Series are in May.

Without a varsity team at Northeastern, softball field condition and availability varies widely from week to week and is largely dependent on coordination with Northeastern Club Sports. Practices are typically held on Carter Field on Columbus Ave or Parsons Field in Brookline during the spring and fall. Home games are also held on Carter Field.

Tryouts are held at the beginning of each semester. Please contact the e-board to learn more about NU Club Softball.
