Prerequisites: MTH 3009 (Fundamentals of Analysis)
Textbook: Principles of Mathematical Analysis, by Walter Rudin, 3rd edition, McGraw-Hill, 1976
Grade: Based on problem sets, class projects, and a final exam

* Course Description


The course will cover the material in Chapters 7-10 from Rudin's book: This course is second in a sequence of three courses, leading towards Lebesgue's theory of integration. It prepares the student for applications of analysis in partial differential equations, probability, geometry, and other areas of mathematics.
