The Northeastern Men’s Squash Team played Babson College this Friday (10.27.17) at home. The team had been practicing hard with new players showing a lot of improvements and enthusiasm both on and off the court. This was clearly highlighted in the performance this Friday as we beat Babson College 9-0, and did not even drop a single game along the way.

There were noteworthy performances by newcomers Christian Yiu and Yagnesh Bagrodia playing at number 10 and number 9 respectively. The team looks in pretty good shape and all ready to host Boston College at home on November 14 at 7 pm.

The Northeastern Men’s Squash Team also hosted the second edition of the Alumni Fundraiser which was a huge success yet again. We had alumni of the squash team come in for some matches and since it was parents weekends we also had a few parents over cheering the team.

The alumni though a little rusty at times looked incredibly fit on court and gave the current team stiff competition. The fundraiser was closed by a speech from Head Coach of the Northeastern Men’s Squash Team Chris Santoro. We also gave out Chipotle gift vouchers to alumni Keith Sproat and Philip who showed fantastic grit on court and did not give away any points easily.

Overall, this has been a really successful weekend of squash for the team. We had a great turnout for both the events and would like to thank all our fans who came out to cheer us !
