This reflection provides an overview of both the barriers and benefits that service-learning provides for students. This student reflected on things such as the language barrier, using verbal and non-verbal cues, as well as how service-learning introduced her to a population she had never worked with before. Additionally, she discusses how service-learning caused her to reflect on her own performance and implement feedback for future practice.
