Abstract: Our project aims to track and understand the changes in confidence and future aspirations of youths before and after they go through the MPF program. Our dataset comes directly from MPF, and measure changes in the three metrics provided: AdultPlanning, AdultAcademic, and AnticipateHappen. Our digital artifact is a demo video of a webpage we created for our stakeholders. The webpage is a representation of the material we’ve learned in our DS4200 class throughout the semester, from creating websites with HTML/CSS to designing and implementing visualizations with the d3 library. It also serves as a consistent source of information for MPF to refer to for their stakeholders, with two interactive visualizations that capture changes in youths, as well as additional analysis and insight on the dataset.
