The Communications Capstone course consists of multiple student-service partnerships to accomplish various goals and missions in each respective community. A particular project worth showcasing is a partnership with St. Mark Community Education Program, where the student, Gwendolyn, focused on providing language and citizenship education programs for adult immigrants. This partnership demonstrates a thoroughly researched deliverable, cooperative plan to achieve the community partner’s goal through service-learning, and is an excellent example to what the capstone course is all about.
