Our “Why- Question” project was designed to make us notice things in our service-learning site and to develop a deeper understanding of what we noticed. Our project was on low-ses parents and their involvement in their child/ren’s school. For our insiders we looked at students in low-ses families as well as adults who come from low-ses families. We chose this project to represent our learning because it was something we saw in our Service- Learning sites and while working on this project we also realized that it was an intersection of a lot of what we learned about in class.
