Areas of Interest: Climate change adaptation and resilience for urban structures and transportation as well as the uncertainties involved with this phenomena. Laura is a second-year Civil Engineering major originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina but most recently from Plantation, FL. Going on the Dialogue of Civilizations to India during Summer I peaked her interest in critical infrastructures, especially in terms of water scarcity and resources. She is involved on campus with American Society of Civil Engineers, Engineers Without Borders, Hillel and Huskies for Israel and in her free time likes to play volleyball and travel.
