Prof. Subimal Ghosh, from Civil Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT-B), agreed to join the DOC for the climate science and engineering course. He will join us as an invited speaker during parts of our stay in Powai in Mumbai. We will get an opportunity to interact with his graduate students. Prof. Ghosh's expertise includes climate statistics, hydrology, and water resources. His publications in top journals include:
a. Statistical Downscaliing of Climate Model Simulations
b. Indian Monsoon Rainfall Extremes

Prof. Rajarshi Majumder, from the department of Economics at Burdwan University in India, agrees to join the DOC for the adaptation and policy course. He will accompany us for parts of our trip in Bangalore and Kerala. Prof. Majumder's expertise includes regional development and infrastructure. His publications include two books:
a. Infrastructure and Development in India: Interlinkages and Policy Issues
b. Intergenerational Mobility: A Study of Social Classes in India

Prof. Sourav Mukherji, from the Organisational Behaviour & Human Resources Management department at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B), agrees to join the DOC for the climate adaptation and policy course. He will join us as an invited speaker during parts of our stay Bangalore (Bengaluru). We may get an opportunity to get around IIM-B with Prof. Mukherji. Prof. Mukehrji's expertise includes Social Entrepreneurship, Inclusive Business Models, Corporate Social Responsibility, Organization Design. Please take a look at his website for details.
