CoffeeBar is a delicious, nutritious, all-natural energy bar made with a full shot of espresso to fill you up and keep you going. It is New Grounds Food’s flagship product, developed out of co-founder Johnny and Ali’s mutual frustration with constant tardiness to 8am classes. The duo approached Scout with lots of ambition, a great pitch, and a tasty product in need of both a distinctive brand and package.

After our consultative design process, we arrived at CoffeeBar’s energetic, delicious, and healthy brand image. The earthy color scheme and bold typography influenced the design of the bar wrapper and display box. As Scout’s first packaging project, we were eager to use design thinking to solve a challenge outside of our immediate realm of expertise.
