Hall Councils

One large component of the Resident Student Association is the Hall Council System, which is overseen by the RSA’s Vice President for Advocacy, Vice President for Operations, and Vice President for Engagement & Leadership.  At Northeastern, each residence hall complex has its own Hall Council, which leads its residence hall(s) by planning programs and advocating on behalf of its residents. Hall Councils have an advantage in that they can specifically target their halls’ needs and work closely with RSA’s General Council to help tackle larger issues that impact campus as a whole.

At the beginning of each academic year, the RSA’s Vice President for Advocacy, Vice President for Operations, and Vice President for Engagement & Leadership organize information sessions, elections, and training for Hall Councils. Further information on the roles of the different Hall Council members can be found on the structure page.  Similarly, a list of contact information by residence hall complex can be found here.  Current Hall Council members can find a variety of training materials and helpful forms on the resources page.
