Published in the Journal of NeuroEngineering and Rehabilitation, the paper synthesizes current knowledge in this area and makes recommendations for clinicians interested in implementing virtual environments in their clinical practice.
We were grateful to attend this community-focused event and meet dedicated service providers and inspiring individuals and families working to improve the rights of persons with disabilities in the New England area.

ALYN is at the forefront of virtual reality integration in pediatric rehabilitation and the site of a great deal of exciting research in the field. IT was great to meet clinicians and tour the facility!
In collaboration with Nina Rohrbach at the Technical University of Munich, we asked or not whether researchers were measuring user motivation, engagement, enjoyment, immersion or presence during VR interventions for adults with stroke. Check out our findings here!
Results of a collaboration about End-user involvement in rehabilitation virtual reality implementation research have been published in the Journal of Enabling Technologies.
She will travel to visit the Functional and Applied Biomechanics Section of the NIH Clinical Center at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.
