On Thursday, March 22nd, PROTECT Project 5 team members participated in MIT Water Night, an event hosted annually by MIT Water Club. Each year, this event brings together researchers and industry professionals in the Boston area and provides them with a platform to present their latest water-related achievements. The event hosted more than 50 participants from MIT, Tufts University, Northeastern University, and the general public to discuss research and establish new collaborations in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Team members in attendance included Senior Research Scientist Lily Rajic, graduate students Yunfei Xue and Wei Zhao, and undergraduates Katerina Robles, Areeg Abd-alla, and Luis Gonzalez. Dr. Rajic served as a judge for the MIT Water Night poster competition, and PROTECT undergraduate and graduate students presented on recent accomplishments on electrochemical water treatment techniques.

Thank you, MIT Water Club, for hosting this event, and excellent work to all that presented!
