TRYOUTS: Tryouts for the Fall 2023 season will be held on Saturday, September 9th from 4-6pm at Carter Field 2 on Northeastern’s main campus. The second day of tryouts will be the following afternoon, Sunday, September 10th, by invite only. Please email nuwomensclubsoccer@gmail.com if you are interested in trying out on 9/9.
WHAT TO BRING TO TRYOUTS: Please bring cleats, shin guards, water, and a ball (if you have one, no need to go out and buy one) to tryouts. Please show up at least 20 minutes early to sign in and pick up your bib number. There is a $10 fee for trying out which can be Venmoed to @anna-kim-249 with your full name as the caption. DUES: At the beginning of every season, each team member is expected to pay dues. Dues include uniforms, travel costs, hotel costs, referee payments, field fees, and tournament fees. The cost of apparel (sweatshirts, sweatpants, dry fit shirts, etc) is not included.
PRACTICES AND GAMES: We typically practice three times a week; practices will be at Carter field or at other fields near campus. Most games will be on the weekends, but depending on field availability, we may play during the week.
FUNDRAISING: We try to volunteer at two or three events (road races, bike races, etc) throughout the fall season to raise money for the team. Participation in these events is expected from all players.
