Join NUSBO on Wednesday, November 1 for a discussion on the influence of climate change on buildings, presented by Northeastern Associate Professor Matthew Eckelman of the Civil and Environmental Engineering department of the College of Engineering.

BIO:

Matthew J. Eckelman, PhD is an associate professor in the Civil and Environmental Engineering department of the College of Engineering at Northeastern University. He received his B.A. in Physics and Mathematics from Amherst College and his M.S. and PhD in Environmental Engineering from Yale University. His research focuses on environmental engineering and sustainability, life cycle assessment, energy efficiency and emissions modeling, environmental assessment of bio and nanomaterials, and material and energy use in urban buildings and infrastructure. He has professional affiliations with the American Center for Life Cycle Assessment, the American Society for Engineering Education, the Association of Environmental Engineering and Science Professors, and the International Society for Industrial Ecology.
