Frank Hennigan - Senior Account Executive
Frank Hennigan is a Senior Account Executive for Vicinity Energy, supporting the Northeast Region. Frank has been with Vicinity (fka Veolia) for 6 years growing the District System to the current 260 + Buildings in Boston and Cambridge. Frank’s previous roles include Account Executive and Account Manager, supporting the existing customer base by utilizing the district steam to its fullest potential. Frank graduated from Massachusetts Maritime Academy with a B.S. in International Maritime Business.
Kevin Hagerty - Chief Technical Officer

Kevin has over 20 years of experience in the power industry and has worked in senior leadership positions for nearly 10 years. Kevin is currently the Chief Technical Officer of Vicinity Energy, the largest owner and operator of district energy systems in the United States.  In previous roles, Kevin served as Senior Vice President of Operations for Veolia North America overseeing over 50 facilities, including the Boston and Philadelphia district energy systems. He graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and holds an MBA from Boston University.

Rick Smith - Vice President of Business Development

Rick Smith is the Vice President of Business Development for Vicinity Energy.  With 20+ years in the environmental services industry, including district energy, water and wastewater services, Rick has a strong understanding of the critical importance of addressing climate change through smart, rapid, and economically feasible strategies.  Rick’s background includes development, operations, and corporate finance.  He is a combat veteran, former US Marine, and a graduate of Northeastern University.  Rick also has an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
