Raquel Powers - Senior Sales Executive, Building Automation
With nearly 30 years of experience in the building controls industry, Raquel has witnessed the transformation of automation from pneumatics to legacy direct digital control (DDC) to the sophisticated network of integrated systems. In 2017, Raquel joined Siemens as a Senior Sales Executive for the Building Automation team. She focused on new construction projects in the Greater Boston area. She is a member of NAWIC – Boston Chapter and the co-chair of the Women’s Information Network at Siemens – Boston Chapter.
John “JC” Courtney - Business Development Manager, Data Analytics
JC brings over 25 years of experience in high technology and building controls industries. He began his career with Intel Corporation and progressed to become New England regional manager. JC joined Siemens as Business Development Manager for Data Analytics in 2016. He is responsible for developing and managing Siemens data-driven services initiatives in New England. This includes the development and delivery of continuous commissioning, monitoring and performance optimization strategies and processes with Siemens’ partners. John Courtney serves on the USGBC – Massachusetts Chapter board of directors where he is the treasurer. He is certified LEED, Green Associate.
Perla Redfern - Business Development Manager
As the Business Development Manager of the Building Automation group for the Greater Boston Area, Perla is responsible for developing and maintaining consulting engineer and contractor relationships. With over 10 years of experience in the Building Automation industry, prior to joining Siemens she held technical and sales roles in various markets at a regional and national level. Perla holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical engineering from Northeastern University. She’s active member of ASHRAE Boston Chapter and has been a Big Sister with Big Sister of Greater Boston for the last 5 years.
