This seminar looks at the materials and methods of construction for Passive House and high performance buildings. We will describe strategies for utilizing high performance materials to achieve Passive House goals of airtightness, durability, comfort and exceptional energy efficiency.
We will also discuss enclosure system innovations for non-toxic and low-embodied energy buildings that will help us achieve the promise of a more sustainable industry.
Oliver comes to 475 High Performance Building Supply following a wide-ranging career in engineering and architecture. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1993 with a Master of Science in Materials Science and then in 2008 from Boston Architectural College with a Master of Architecture. Oliver is a registered architect in Massachusetts, a Certified Passive House Consultant and a LEED Accredited Professional. Oliver brings to his sales work a deep concern for building science and sustainability.
