Come find out some ‘behind the scenes’ details on the First Zero Net Energy Office Building in MA, the field headquarters for the Fisheries and Wildlife Division.  Using real building data, we will see how to Design and Build Zero Net Energy (ZNEBs) based on the constraints of physics explained by someone who knows it all too well.


Conor manages all green building design and sustainable construction goals for Columbia Construction Company, a MA based contractor with $250M annual revenues. By collaboratively working with owners, architects, consultants, and engineers, his projects deliver practical construction solutions that maintain design and sustainability targets. He’s worked on multiple LEED Platinum projects and is currently working on MIT’s first LEED v4 project and MA’s first Net Zero Energy Dormitory Building. He is a former USGBC MA Board Director and is a graduate of Northeastern’s COE and Boston Architectural College’s Sustainable Design Master’s program.
