ABSTRACT:

This seminar looks at the materials and methods of construction for Passive House and high performance buildings. We will describe strategies for utilizing high performance materials to achieve Passive House goals of airtightness, durability, comfort and exceptional energy efficiency.
We will also discuss enclosure system innovations for non-toxic and low-embodied energy buildings that will help us achieve the promise of a more sustainable industry.
