Climate change requires an ‘all hands on deck’ approach – and hopefully not because we’re all under water! We’ll discuss what’s needed for resiliency and adaptation of existing buildings, as well as the exciting opportunities in creating future spaces.
Cynthia Curtis is SVP of sustainability stakeholder engagement for JLL, a Fortune 500 real estate company, responsible for elevating JLL’s sustainability program, Building a Better Tomorrow, embedding it broadly throughout the business and driving meaningful impact with and through JLL’s clients. She serves as JLL’s representative on the World Green Building Association’s Corporate Advisory Board. A recent ‘burb transplant – moving from Wellesley to the South End, Cynthia is thrilled to now be able to walk to work!
Prior to joining JLL, Curtis has worked in the public, private and non-profit sectors, including Ceres and CA Technologies, where she served as vice president and chief sustainability officer.
While in Wellesley, Cynthia built one of the region’s first gold LEED-certified residences. As chair of the Wellesley Village Church Energy Committee she helped to achieve a solar panel installation.
Cynthia is a graduate of Boston College, an avid Sox fan, and enjoys most anything outdoors.
