ABSTRACT:
The first part of this discussion will focus on how Gensler tracks key performance metrics across a global design practice, and how this informs goal setting for projects of all scales. We will share Gensler’s results from the AIA 2030 Commitment, highlighting how this platform and our signing of the COP 21 Paris Pledge for Action on Climate Change has guided our work. We will finish with case studies for a few surprise transformative projects!
BIO:
Jim is an architect with more than 25 years of experience in the planning and design of aviation and transportation projects, including the Portland International Jetport and its groundbreaking sustainability efforts. As a member of a Climate Ready Boston working group and President of AIA Massachusetts, Jim works with legislators, researchers, designers, and environmental advocacy groups to create more sustainable, resilient and healthy buildings.
