Perkins+Will
ABSTRACT:
Perkins+Will is a research driven practice focused on ideas and buildings that are socially and environmentally responsible. By constantly asking questions and measuring the performance of our buildings, we learn and discover sustainable strategies that make our designs smarter, healthier and more efficient. We strive to create designs that are not only aesthetically beautiful and responsive to context but that also perform beautifully technically and socially. Ultimately, we design environments where people and their experience come first. Attendees to this presentation will learn who we are, how we work, and what is our approach to design excellence and high performance buildings. We will tell stories about a selection of projects and discuss the process for integrating design, research and sustainable strategies.
