ABSTRACT:

Learn what it takes to functionally test the systems that make buildings comfortable and safe. An overview of the commissioning process and the skills and tools that lead to success.

BIO:

Lance has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon and a Masters in Engineering Management from Old Dominion.  He is a Licensed Professional Engineer (Mechanical) and before BVH, he worked for the Navy on the design of their nuclear reactor plants. Following the Navy, Lance transitioned to the building construction industry to work on energy modeling which then led him to some commissioning work, and he is now doing commissioning full-time at BVH. His main hobby is fixing things, and as such he has dabbled in home improvement and auto repair.
