    Join ULI Boston as we meet with the team behind High Street Place Food Hall to discuss how this once underutilized space is transforming how people interact on High Street. From pre-game to post-game and on the weekends - High Street Place Food Hall is attracting employees, families and tourists to the Financial District.

    Julie Reker

    Gensler

    As Studio Director and Retail Leader in Gensler’s Boston office, Julie brings over 25 years of architectural design, project management, and retail experience. She oversees projects ranging in complexity, from core and shell building conversions, boutique retail and flagship store design, and prototype design, to multi-site program management and implementation. Julie leads a number of retail accounts for high-profile clients, including Bank of America, Boston Properties (Prudential Center), and Santander. She is the current Chairman of the Retail Design Institutes’ New England Chapter. Julie’s expertise is highly regarded in the industry, and she has spoken at a variety of national retail conferences, including the International Retail Design Conference (IRDC).

    Fred Borges

    Rockpoint Group, L.L.C.

    Fred Borges is involved in Rockpoint’s eastern United States investment and asset management activities. Mr. Borges is based in Rockpoint’s Boston office. Prior to joining Rockpoint in 2011, Mr. Borges worked at Barclays Capital in the Real Estate Investment Banking Group for one year and previously at Cabot Properties for two years. Mr. Borges received a B.A. in International Relations from Tufts University.

    Lauren Johnson

    Marketplace Manager, Rockpoint Group, L.L.C.

    As Marketplace Manager for High Street Place, Lauren oversees operations and marketing strategy for the popular Food Hall. Prior to joining Rockhill Management, she helped successfully launch several Boston based start-ups in key roles that highlighted her experience in placemaking, hospitality & project management. Lauren joined the High Street Place team in 2019 while the project was in its construction phase. During this time, she had the unique opportunity to collaborate on the final Food Hall design and tenant build out, all while carving out plans for future programming, events, and larger Food Hall marketing initiatives. In addition to all her stellar work at High Street Place, Lauren sits on the Board of the Downtown Boston BID, a position which enables her to contribute to the important revitalization of Downtown Boston.
