Have you heard the Updated Stretch Code and the New Specialized Opt-In Code is live now for residential projects and a few months out for commercial.

Come listen to the first in our series of discussions around the recently announced, the Massachusetts Secretary of State promulgated the DOER updated Stretch Code and the new Specialized Opt-In Code (225 CMR 22 and 23). This session will focus on the big changes in the codes and how to determine which is the correct code path for a project. There will also be time for questions with our very knowledgeable panel.

The new residential stretch code requirements took effect on December 23, 2022 and the new commercial stretch code requirements will take effect on July 1, 2023. Sponsored by the COTE and Codes Committees, the Sustainable Design Leaders will share information about 225 CMR 22 and 23. The first meeting applies to all, with subsequent meetings scheduled for different sectors.
