ABSTRACT:

In the past decade, design and development of low to zero energy buildings have surged, which led to an integration of energy modeling into every project’s workflow. Building energy modeling helps identify aspects in a design to reduce energy consumption and GHG emissions and determine design options that are environmentally and economically feasible. In this presentation, you will recognize the importance of building energy modeling and understand the integrated energy modeling process in the industry.
