National Chemistry Week – Volunteering at the Museum of Science on Oct. 13 and the Children’s Museum on Oct. 19. The theme for this year was ~Marvelous Metals~ and so our volunteers lead demos about the different properties of metals for elementary school aged children. Demos included cleaning pennies, magnetic vs. non-magnetic metals, and melting gallium with a hairdryer.
Breakfast Club – 11/17/19 A group of students went to pick up trash in a local neighborhood, Mission Hill. This was a great opportunity for students to meet people in other clubs and bond as a group.
