Membership

NUMA offers two types of membership with corresponding levels of engagement. The details of each are below:

NUMA's general meetings and co-op panels are open to non-members and students all of majors! Stop by our weekly events to hear network with co-op employers, hear from cool speakers in a variety of industries, build your skills, and learn what you can do with marketing!

NUMA general meetings take place each Wednesday at 7:00pm via Zoom. Sign on in!

To be an official member the due is $20 for the semester and $35 for the year. Venmo @Amil-Khattar and include your NU email, name, and “NUMA membership dues” in the subject.


FAQ

Do I need to be a marketing major to join NUMA?
Not at all! We welcome students from all majors – different perspectives are incredibly valuable in marketing, and marketing knowledge can help you succeed in any major, industry, and career!

Can I pick and choose which meetings to attend?
While we love when students attend all of our weekly meetings, we understand that our members have many interests and commitments (not to mention schoolwork!) outside of NUMA. Our policy is open attendance – you can keep an eye on our social media and email updates and come to the meetings that interest you! Note: NUMA E-Board members are required to attend every meeting.

Can I  join NUMA as a freshman/sophomore/middler/junior/senior?
Yes! We welcome all full-time undergraduate Northeastern students! You can be in classes or on co-op.

Does NUMA charge dues?
Yes. Most of our events, such as co-op panels and speaker, are open to general attendance (you don't need to be a paying member). Official (dues-paying) NUMA Members receive access to special membership events and outings as well as priority notification for job and internship opportunities. See our Get Involved page to learn more about NUMA membership.
