Digital Humanities Open Office Hours

Digital Humanities Open Office Hours will be held this spring semester on Tuesdays* from 2:00-3:15 pm in the Digital Scholarship Commons (2nd floor of Snell Library).

*note: the first meeting will take place on Wednesday, January 21th from 2:00-3:15.

DH Open Office Hours are opportunities for students, faculty members, and librarians to discuss recent developments in the field of digital humanities and their own research. These are informal, conversational meetings held every week, and they are designed in part to be spaces where students and scholars new to digital humanities might ask questions about research topics and tools. Informal discussion topics / optional readings are occasionally circulated before meetings if a particular topic seems interesting to a large number of people. We’ll also have some guests from local institutions / other parts of Northeastern stopping by this semester at times.

You should come to DH Open Office Hours if:

  • – You’re a member of the Northeastern community who is interested in learning more about digital humanities
  • – You have a research project or an idea that might need some informal feedback or information about relevant digital tools.
  • – You’re a student or faculty member who is already doing cool stuff in the field of digital humanities.

DH Open Office Hours are organized by Northeastern’s Digital Scholarship Group and The NULab for Texts, Maps, and Networks.
