We will be having the first NUHOC meetings of the semester at 7:30pm on Wednesday, September 7 and Thursday, September 8 in 097 Cargill Hall. You can go to either meeting – the presentations and info will be the same. We hope to see you there!

It’s time for our LAST MEETING OF THE SUMMER where we’ll be having our Fall E-board Elections and a Pot Luck!!!!! Join us for the Summer Soirée at 7:30PM on Wednesday August 24th in West Village G 104!!! Our first meeting of the Fall will be on Wednesday September 7th, so stay tuned for more details on all the AMAZING TRIPS & ACTIVITIES we have in store for the next semester!!!! We hope to see you there!!!

HELLOOOOOOO NUHOC!!!! Join us at our meeting at 7:30 PM Wednesday August 10TH in West Village G 104 to hear all about upcoming weekend & member-led trips!! We’re also having a NUHOC POT-LUCK on Friday August 12 at 7PM, so fill out the signup form on our Slack!!

This past weekend was our CAPE COD BIKE TRIP!!!! We rode 130 MILES from Hingham, allllll the way up the Cape to Provincetown!! Despite a little bit (a shit ton) of rain on Friday evening, morale stayed high as we passed through beautiful small towns and rode along scenic trails!! We even (accidentally) infiltrated the largest annual bike race in New England, and met plenty of cool cyclists!! Sunday was spent exploring P-town and its beaches, then taking the ferry back home to Boston!! If you want to come on trips like this in the future, come to our meetings and join the Slack!!!

HELLOOOOOO NUHOC!!! Somehow it’s already August, so we hope everybody is making the most of the last month of summer!! Come to our meeting Wednesday August 3RD at 7:30PM in West Village G 104 to learn about our August trip plans and meet people to do cool stuff outside with!! And if you want to become more involved in the club, now is a great time to join our Eboard meetings at 6:30PM before the general meeting, as we start preparing for a ton of BIG fall trips!! ALSO, after the meeting some of us will be heading over to the new Central Rock Gym in Fenway that just opened this week, so feel free to join and try out some brand new climbing!!!

HELLOOOOOO NUHOC!!! We hope everybody’s staying cool while getting outside in this summer heat!! Join us at this week’s meeting for a BRAIN FREEZE RELAY!! We’ll meet at 7:30PM Wednesday July 27TH at 104 West Village G for regular trip signups, then head over to the Fens track to run a relay race while passing and eating ice pops!!!

As always you can sign up for upcoming weekend trips at the meeting, including Cape Cod biking and Loj wood cutting!! This weekend at the Loj, we’ll be taking some of the first steps in the construction of our NEW LODGE building!! Come cut wood and be a part of NUHOC history!!

HEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLOOOOOOO NUHOC!!!!!!! Get your most fancy and elegant hiking clothes ready, because this weekend is our annual FORMAL HIKE!!!
We’ll be spending the weekend at the Loj and hiking Cannon Mountain in formal attire like suits and dresses, because what else would you wear up a mountain!?!?

Read incredible stories from NUHOCers about reviving our outdoors club from Zoom purgatory, lifelong memories of Loj adventures, and all the friends made along the way!! Featuring amazing photography, poetry, word games, & MORE!! You can pick up a copy at one of our meetings or from the gear locker, so please check it out!!

At this week’s meeting we’ll be watching THE LAST TEPUI, a National Geographic movie featuring Mark Synnott, a professional climber who has visited NUHOC as a guest speaker every single year for over 20 years!! The documentary is about his adventure deep into the Amazon rainforest to hunt for new species, which he told NUHOC all about firsthand when he visited last December! The meeting will be on JUNE 22ND, at 7:30PM in West Village G 104!! We hope to see you there!!
