Documents

This page offers a series of NUHOC documents that are for public access. Feel free to check out what we have, and let us know if there’s anything else you might be looking for!

NUHOC_Constitution – This is the most current version of the NUHOC Constitution. You may notice that some things have since changed in respect to the structure of our club, but these changes will be reflected in a newly revised version, which is coming soon.

Introduction_to_the_LodgeLodge_History_Part_1Lodge_History_Part_2 – These documents provide information about the Loj and its history. Read about the former building, the area surrounding it, original Lodge Committee members, diary excerpts from back in the day, and more.

Lodge Design Specifications – Interested in designing the new Loj? Check out some important details here.

NUHOC_Loj_Cookbook – Here’s a book of some of our favorite recipes to cook at the loj. They work well for large groups, and there is some extra information about planning food for a weekend at the loj. This is a great resource for first-time loj cooks. Don’t forget the bacon and OCP’s!

What to Bring to the Loj – Here is a packing list of things that you should bring on an average trip to the loj. Depending on the time of year and the trips planned, there may be other things you need, but this list is a good place to start.

Loj Design Proposals – When Brown Memorial Lodge was first being planned, a number of different floor plans were proposed by different members. The final plan was designed by Mike Rodrique. Check out the different designs and the design requirements here!

Excelsior 2006Excelsior 2010, Excelsior 2015 – The Excelsior is NUHOC’s annual publication that highlighted some of the trips and exciting things that happened with NUHOC each year. These are the three electronic copies that we have.  If you have any submission ideas, we invite you to send them to the VP Publicity and maybe your submission will be used in the next issue!
