Scholarship Eligibility

The A2M scholarship was awarded in 2018 to be used as a

To be eligible for the Biotech A2M Scholars Program, students must meet the following requirements:

  • Enrolled in a biotechnology degree program at Middlesex Community College or Northeastern University
  • Demonstrated financial need (FAFSA or Pell Grant eligibility)
  • Full-time student (minimum 12 credits in the fall and spring semesters)
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA (A.S. or B.S. students) and 3.0 GPA (M.S. students)
  • U.S. citizen, permanent residents, refugees (section 207)

Please note: Eligibility will be reviewed semi-annually to ensure that students continue to meet the criteria listed above. The first step to determining eligibility is for you to fill out the FAFSA form at fafsa.gov.

Expectations once awarded the grant:

  • Attend A2M events as possible
  • Maintain communication and regular meetings with Industry Mentor
  • Communicate with the Biotech navigator about any changes in your class schedule and with any supports you may need
  • Maintain all eligibility requirements
