Zhenyun passed his dissertation defense

Zhenyun Qian successfully defended his Ph.D. dissertation “Micro and Nano Electromechanical Systems for
Near-Zero Power Infrared Detection” on April 21, 2017. He will stay in our group as a Post-Doctoral Researcher starting in May.

Paper accepted for presentation at EFTF-IFCS 2017

The paper Z. Qian, V. Rajaram, S. Kang and M. Rinaldi, “NEMS Infrared Detectors based on High Quality Factor 50 nm Thick AlN Nano-Plate Resonators”, has been accepted for oral presentation at the 2017 European Frequency and Time Forum & International Frequency Control Symposium (IFCS-EFTF 2017), to be held on July 9 – July 13, 2017 in Besancon, France. The paper has also been selected as a finalist for the Student Paper Competition.
