Nanomagnetism Group takes APS by storm

The Nanomagnetism group just returned from a 5-day trip to Argonne National Lab's Advance Photon Source. While there, they studied the structure of numerous crystalline materials using a high-energy synchrotron X-ray beam (beam line 33-BM-C) and a 6-circle goniometer. With this advanced instrument and intense level of X-ray radiation they were able to probe deeper and more accurately than is possible in the laboratory.
