Research Novel materials based in Mn-Al alloy are emerging as suitable alternatives with the potential to replace Nd-Fe-B magnets, because these are more expensive than Mn-Al. In this way, my research is the study of exchange coupling in Mn-Al-C\α-Fe nanocomposite magnets prepared by cryogenic milling. The composite nanostructured materials consisting of exchange-coupled hard and soft magnetic phases are proposed as alternative materials for the development of permanent magnets. The hard magnetic phase provides a high coercive field, while the soft magnetic phase provides a high magnetic remanence and saturation.
