About ISPP

Ongoing globalization processes have led to a proliferation of new forms of international organizations and have produced new and complex types of transnational crime and security challenges. At the same time, new regulatory and control opportunities have emerged through legal, technological, and other developments. In 2004, ISPP was established to address the need for analytic thinking regarding governance and security, including the assessment of security risks, human and constitutional rights, the organization of public and private security bodies and the professionalization of security analysts, managers, and leaders. The overall mission of ISPP is to develop and promote new approaches and capabilities to security and global governance through knowledge creation, knowledge management, and multilateral cooperation.
