The Boston Centers for Youth & Families (BCYF) is now in charge of Family Gym! BCYF previously served as a partner of HKHF and hosted Open Gym at three BCYF community centers while it was still a research project at Northeastern University.
Please check out our webpage on the City of Boston website for Family Gym program dates and locations now that the administration of the program has transitioned to BCYF!
Northeastern and UMass Boston students will continue staffing our weekend program as the Family Gym component of the Healthy Kids Healthy Futures initiative will live on as a program of BCYF.
We had lots of fun with all of the families and student volunteers that participated at locations in the South End, Dorchester, and Roxbury neighborhoods of Boston.
