I am originally from Seattle, WA where I graduated from the University of Washington in 2012 with a double degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry. During my time there, I was fortunate to participate in two years of undergraduate research under Prof. Charles T. Campbell. Under his mentorship, I was convinced that a career as a chemical engineer would lead me to a higher level of success and satisfaction.

After graduating, my passion for research took me to Northeastern University where I am currently pursuing a PhD in Chemical Engineering under the advisement of Prof. Edgar D. Goluch. My research focuses on the development, functionalization, and optimization of electrochemical sensors for detecting bacterial pathogens found in the hospital setting, specifically Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

Aside from my research, I am a huge sneakerhead and have been collecting shoes ever since I was young. On any given day, you can spot me as the guy with Yoshi on his backpack.
