Scientific Overview

We develop and integrate sensors and micro- and nano-fluidic channels into complete systems for studying and manipulating microbes and their surroundings. We  investigate new ways to characterize these microbial environments by exploiting interesting physical properties that manifest themselves at the nano- scale.
